I had a lovely one-night stay at The Coachmakers Arms. The self-contained room was cozy with comfortable twin beds. I really appreciated the thoughtful breakfast hamper waiting for me—cereals, milk, and croissants made for an easy start to the day. Despite being near the main road, my room was surprisingly quiet at night. Staff provided warm, personal service throughout, making me feel right at home. The only downside was limited on-site parking, which could be inconvenient for those traveling with a car.

Cozy atmosphere with a lively beer garden that invites local clientele, creating a community vibe. Accessibility to scenic walking routes along the river offers a chance to enjoy nature and unique wildlife, while the self-contained rooms provide a personal retreat from the pub ambiance.
The steep, narrow stairs present a challenge for anyone with mobility concerns and could be a deal-breaker. Noise from the garden and bar can disrupt sleep, especially when live music events are happening. The lack of dedicated on-site parking can complicate your stay, and some rooms may feel cramped if you're staying for more than a night.

Great spot near the river!
Had an awesome stay here! The room was clean and comfy, and the view of the beer garden was nice. Linda and her crew served a breakfast that was just yum! Only thing was that the live music on Sat night was a bit loud, but it didn't ruin the vibe. Super close to the riverside too!

Let me tell you, the bed was like sleeping on a cloud 💤, and breakfast, while not bad, was just what I needed to kick start my day. The atmosphere in the bar was lively, filled with locals exchanging stories, made me feel part of the community.
It wasn’t exactly a bargain but acceptable.
